What the appraisal is

A site appraisal is the first thing we do with any landowner. It’s an honest, planning-led read of your site by a chartered planner: what the opportunities are, what the obstacles are, and what’s realistically achievable before you spend a penny on designs or deposits.

We tell it straight. If a project isn’t likely to succeed, we’ll say so upfront — no wasted time, no wishful thinking. But in almost every case there’s a way forward, whether that’s a permitted development route, a licence, or a full planning application. The skill is knowing which one applies to your land, and we’re clear with people about exactly that.

Turn up with your appraisal already in hand, and you walk the halls knowing what could work on your land. You speak to the right manufacturers. You ask sharper questions. Step one — tell us about your site. Register online and fill in a few details about your land and what you’d like to do with it.

Step two — we review it. Our planners prepare your initial appraisal ahead of 10–12 September and send it back to you.

Step three — book a chat with Ben. Grab a 20-minute slot to meet us at the stand, and we’ll talk you through the realistic route to consent.
